MARYLAND WEAR & CARRY RECERTIFICATION CLASS REQUIREMENTS WHAT TO BRING: • Valid government-issued photo ID • Current Maryland Wear & Carry Permit • Handgun suitable for the required live-fire qualification – Handguns are available for rent • Ammunition for the live-fire portion of the course – Ammunition is available for purchase • Eye and ear protection – Eye and ear protection are available for purchase • Appropriate range attire – Closed-toe shoes are recommended – Avoid low-cut shirts during live fire • Any required prescription glasses or corrective lenses • Remaining course balance of $75 due at the start of class – Total Course Price: $125 – $50 deposit required when registering IMPORTANT: Students must complete the required recertification training and demonstrate safe firearm handling during the live-fire qualification. DO NOT bring a loaded firearm into the classroom. All firearms must remain unloaded and secured until instructed otherwise by the instructor. Rental handguns, ammunition, eye protection, and ear protection are available at Sharp Shooters Gun Store.
